  • The Twitch legal team has contacted me on 2020-04-15 and asked me to remove all changelog data.
  • I'm of course not happy about it because the intend of the logs was to give broadcasters, moderators and anyone else the opportunity to lookup possible chat ban evaders. The broadcaster type changes were a good place to see when a channel got affiliate or partnered (or got the status removed). Either way there is not really a point to try to go against Twitch on this as the data is from their service and I'm not interested in a legal dispute. Giving the users the option to have an entry removed is in my opinion also not a good option as that would compromise the integrity of the site. What is the site worth if you can't trust its data?
  • Thank you to everyone who used my tools and found them useful. Unfortunately this leaves a somewhat bitter taste and I'm not sure if I want to continue to "support" Twitch with any other tools I might think of in the future.
